My artwork takes a critical view of myself, and asks… Where do I want to go next. What do I want todo? In my work, I show you where I have been, where I want to go, what I see, and how I see it.Having photographed subjects as diverse a drop of water, to the stars we stand under, I try to showevery aspect of what I love.
These are often a landscape of my favorite places, a story in a single frame, or the smallest subjects, focused to seem huge. Most of my work is of a scenery. A place I would like to call home, or aplace that I have gone, and treated as a vacation, no matter how close to home. Some of my othershots are featured as macro images, while the rest are focused on seeing miles and miles of open land.Macro photography, from a drop of water, to the flowers on your mantle takes something so small andinsignificant, that we often forget about how important it is to us.
Whenever I plan a shot, there is no telling what I will put into the shot, until I know for sure what I amshooting. Many of my photos will have props, or an effect added to dramatize my views. The subjectof each body of work determines the materials and the form of the work.
